FAQ
1. Is this fabric 100% cotton?
Yes, it is handwoven khadi cotton, made from hand-spun cotton yarn.
2. What does “slub texture” mean?
Slub means the yarn has natural thick and thin areas. This gives the fabric a lightly textured, organic look. It is a feature of handloom khadi, not a flaw.
3. Will the fabric shrink after washing?
Khadi can shrink slightly, around 3–5%. We recommend pre-washing before stitching.
4. Will the colour fade or bleed?
Dark shades like olive green may release a little colour in the first wash. Wash separately in cold water the first time.
5. Is this fabric suitable for summer?
Yes. It is breathable, lightweight in feel and comfortable in hot weather.
6. Can I use it for home décor?
Yes. It works well for cushion covers, curtains, table runners and upholstery accents.
7. How much fabric do I need for a kurta?
Usually 2.5 to 3 metres, depending on size and design. For [Plus sizes or long kurtas], order more.
8. Do you sell fabric in bulk or wholesale?
Yes. Please contact us for bulk and boutique orders.
9. Is the colour exactly as shown in the photos?
We try to be accurate, but screen settings and natural light can make it look slightly different.
10. Can I return or exchange the fabric?
Please check our Return & Exchange Policy. Cut fabric is usually non-returnable unless it arrives damaged or wrong.
