FAQ
1. Is this fabric 100% cotton?
It is handwoven khadi, made from hand-spun yarn. [Confirm: 100% cotton.]
2. Will the checks align perfectly?
Because it is handwoven, small variations in the pattern are natural. This is part of its handmade charm.
3. Will the fabric shrink after washing?
Khadi can shrink slightly, around 3–5%. We recommend pre-washing before stitching.
4. Will the colour fade or bleed?
Blue shades may release some colour in the first few washes. Wash separately in cold water at first, and keep it away from light-coloured clothes.
5. Is this fabric suitable for summer?
Yes. It is breathable and comfortable in warm weather, and it also layers well in cooler months.
6. Can I use it for home décor?
Yes. It works well for cushion covers, curtains, table runners and upholstery accents.
7. How much fabric do I need for a kurta or shirt?
A kurta usually needs 2.5 to 3 metres and a shirt 2 to 2.5 metres, depending on size and design. For [Plus sizes or long styles], order more. Allow extra if you want to match the checks.
8. Do you sell fabric in bulk or wholesale?
Yes. Please contact us for bulk and boutique orders.
9. Is the colour exactly as shown in the photos?
We try to be accurate, but screen settings and natural light can make it look slightly different.
10. Can I return or exchange the fabric?
Please check our Return & Exchange Policy. Cut fabric is usually non-returnable unless it arrives damaged or wrong.
