Care Instructions

• Wash by hand or in a machine on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
• Wash the fabric once before stitching. Khadi can shrink slightly, so pre-washing gives you a better fit after tailoring.
• For the first 2–3 washes, wash separately or with similar colours, because handloom dyes can release a little colour.
• Use cold or lukewarm water. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
• Do not wring or twist hard. Gently squeeze out the water.
• Dry in the shade, away from direct harsh sunlight, to keep the colour deep and rich.
• Iron on medium-high heat while the fabric is slightly damp for a crisp finish. Khadi softens beautifully with every wash.
• Slight variations in weave and tiny slubs are natural in handwoven fabric and are the mark of genuine khadi.

Khadi can shrink slightly on the first wash. We recommend pre-washing the fabric before giving it to your tailor.

Q7. Will the colour fade or bleed?
Handloom fabrics may release a little colour in the first few washes. Wash it separately with a mild detergent and dry in the shade to keep the colour longer.

Q8. Why are there small slubs or slight irregularities in the fabric?
These come from the handwoven process and are a natural sign of genuine khadi, not a defect.

Yes, COD is available. Prepaid orders get an extra 10% off.
